Drop off Your Unused or Expired Prescription Medications

The county has supplied the Bedford Police Department with a permanent Pill Drop Box. Situated in the police department lobby, anyone can drop off and safely dispose of prescription pills by leaving them in the drop box. The box is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please do not leave liquids or needles, only pills are accepted.

Prescription opioid painkillers act as a gateway to heroin abuse for many. These pills are common in medicine cabinets, and left unattended these are susceptible to being stolen and abused. It is crucial that opioids are disposed of properly to keep families and individuals safe. Please use the Cuyahoga County Prescription Drug Drop Box to safely dispose of any prescription pills at any time of day or night.
